Our arrival in Kiruna was so very strange. It was dark outside, but slightly before 8AM. It didn't feel like morning, it just felt like nowhere. It was snowing heavily, softly, and violently at the same time and if there was ever a time I existed in the twilight zone it was at the moment stepping off the bus with limited sleep. The rooms weren't open yet when we arrived at the hostel, so we put our things in the hallway and went to the breakfast buffet, where everyone was half asleep over coffee.
The breakfast buffet was amazing. They had everything, and it was all good quality. I ate lots of bread with cheese and jam and some more bread with cheese and meat and regretted every breakfast I had eaten up to that date.

The combi tour was next - we went snowmobiling and then on the combi tour on the way home. We were in the second group, so we got to explore Kiruna first, and do the tour afterwards.
