And we're back!

I spent the holidays... or, mid-December to mid-January, visiting my family in England. While I was in England, I got a visit from my American boyfriend, Justin, and we went to visit my aunt in Wales. We spent the new year in London, and enjoyed plenty of bacon butties and sausages from the butcher up the street from my grandmother's house. Once he left, I visited my friend Emma in Glasgow - a city I haven't been to since I was really young.

I was going to move my blog to Wordpress, rather than Blogspot, because Google keeps being creepy and posting all of my pictures to my Google+ account. Alas, Wordpress is equally as creepy, and disgustingly corporate. The themes cost horrendous amounts of money considering the original costs of creating a theme, and you have to pay extra to add your own CSS/HTML or even change the font color through their tools.

So, here I am, back on Blogger, saddened to see that do-whatever-you-want-day on the internet has come to an end and html coding on some open platform you don't pay for is long gone. *moment of silence for my middle school friends' really amazing myspace pages*

I probably didn't look hard enough for another host, but I also don't have the time (or skills...) to code my entire blog so it's okay.

Anyways, re-vamped for winter weather in Uppsala. Stay tuned for my wintery adventures, and the heated, much-longed-for transition into Spring, as well as my musings on how I'm going to manage to pack all my stuff into two bags in June.
