This Saturday, I went with friends on an exploratory visit to Stockholm. My last two visits to Stockholm have been with UF on study trips, so I hadn't seen much yet (even though I've been here for two months!) Learning our way around was very helpful and I'm excited to go back, especially in December. Stockholm is impressively gorgeous. Founded in 1252, the city is old and quaint, yet modern and progressive all at once.
The weather was cold and wet, but the city was still beautiful and we had a great time. We went on a tour of Södermalm and spent time in a cafe in Gamla stan (the old part of Stockholm) and then went to a pub to watch
an El Clásico game - Real Madrid vs. Barcelona.
