Last weekend, Emily came to visit all the way from the U.S.! On her way to study at Freiburg, Germany, she stopped in Uppsala. It was quite an adventure - she accidentally took the train from Arlanda to Sala, a town just west of Uppsala, and then took another bus almost directly to my accommodation.
We had a great weekend spending time in Åland, Finland (pictures to come) and going for brunch at V-Dala Nation (which was a lot fancier than we had anticipated). Overall, I can't wait to see her shining face in Germany in the Spring, and wish her luck with her studies!
