My Adventure to Migrationsverket

U.S. citizens do not need a visa to travel into Sweden. If you are planning on staying for longer than six months, however, you need a Residence Permit Card. I applied for my card before I left the U.S., and received my decision, and then had to wait until arrival in Sweden to provide biometric data. So yesterday, I went on a very long bike ride to Migrationsverket in Uppsala. It's approximately 5k from my housing accommodation, but I got a little lost, so it was a bit longer. I gave myself 45 minutes to get there, and needed all but five. After an adventure through several industrial parks, I made it to the Migrationsverket, and my residence card should be coming in the mail pretty soon.
